The perennial problem of soil run-off after a Maize harvest has been addressed by Germinal.
They have launched their new fast growing After Maize Quick Grow mixture, to minimise the issue of soil loss, with a custom mixture of Tetraploid, Diploid and Westerwolds varieties. This fast establishing mixture can be cultivated or drilled directly.
Germinal’s Paul Morgan said, ” This (After Maize Quick Grow) mixture is a fast establishing grass mix designed to minimise the perennial risk of soil run-off after harvesting a maize crop.” he continued, “we have designed this mixture utilising fast growing Italian Ryegrasses both Tetraploid and Diploid, together with Westerwolds and a Hybrid Ryegrass. The seed can be applied either by cultivation or direct drilling”.
