Trial plot of 4 varities of Stubble Turnips, plus Pulsar Rape Kale in the same field
Our customer is trialling his idea of growing 5 different crops in same field in separate areas so that they mature at different times. This will allow the Sheep and Lambs to graze across the field in a controlled manor, so they are always moving into a section where the crop is at it’s best – this is designed to maintain the maximum output from the whole field across a period of time and of course, to maximise growth of the livestock.
4 types of Stubble Turnips being sown are: Avalon, Rondo, Samson and Fresia in addition to Pulsar Rape Kale.
